Co-creating highly performing teams of inspired individuals.
The old model of team development was to get everyone motivated to follow the same set of company values. The problem with the old model is that external motivation doesn't last. Once the old-model motivational (rah rah, bonding) session is over, it fades quickly as everyone gets back into their work.
The new model is for leaders and managers to appreciate that teams are made up of individuals; each of whom have their unique set of individual life priorities, and that motivation will only endure when you help team members to understand how helping the company reach its goals will help them achieve what they want personally.
We are not saying teams shouldn't have fun together; we are asking "How much more fun will everyone have when they are all getting what they specifically want?"
It's time for leaders and managers to assist their team members to become self-leaders and self-governors who are inspired to contribute to the company mission!

you very much for holding the workshop for us last Friday, it was most enjoyable.
think the main thing I got out of the workshop was being reminded about
the fact that I have control over how I react to different people or
situations. I became annoyed yesterday and was able to question myself
straight away about why I was annoyed and also noticed the chemical
reactions happening in my body. I then calmed myself down straight away
and I could feel the chemical reaction subside. This was very
have also allowed my Mum to do different things for me and we have had a
really enjoyable week and I have just let things go that would normally
have annoyed me!!
So all in all a very positive outcome and strategies I continue to keep using each day.
